Clos du Fief - 4 Generations of Tête

Françis Tête, a barrel manufacturer and cellar manager founded the domain. He passed it to his son, Raymond, who pionnered direct selling to consumers, directly at the domain. Since 1980, Michel et Françoise have developed it and established in 1988 the "Domaine du Clos du Fief"
This family domain covers three Beaujolais Crus for a total of 13 hectares planted of Gamay noir à jus blanc

The Juliénas, first on the plots "Les Fouillousses", "La Ville", "Les Berthets", "Les Gonnards" where you will find our cellar, et naturellement "Le Clos du Fief"'
The Saint-Amour "Aux Capitans"
The Beaujolais Villages on "La Roche" and "Les Roberts" in Jullié

L'exploitation comporte également 1/2 ha de Beaujolais-Villages blanc issu du cépage Chardonnay sur la commune de Saint-Verand en Saône et Loire avec en parallèle le développement du Crémant de Bourgogne.
The domain includes also 1/2 hectare of White Beaujolais-Villages blanc made of Chardonnay on the municipality of Saint-Verand, just North of Julienas in Saône et Loire. In parallel we develop a sparkling wine Crémant de Bourgogne.
